As a recovering do-it-yourselfer, Brett has learned several valuable lessons on the value of hiring a professional to maintain and improve one’s home and business. It’s this perspective that drives everything that Mr. Handyman of Birmingham does to deeply understand it’s customer needs and exceed their expectations. Brett has deep family roots in the Birmingham area, his grandfather and great-grandfather both worked at US Steel in Fairfield and he graduated from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa a few years back;) He understands the unique needs of each different neighborhood, community, customer and respects the constant need to provide reliable value everyday. Prior to owning this company, Brett spent a few decades in strategic sales and marketing in the telecommunications and recycling sectors and also owned a beer tap handle manufacturing company. When he’s not laughing with his wife or playing with his two daughters, he enjoys tennis, skiing, fly-fishing, and watching football.
