Working With An Insurance Company?

Q: We have some modest residual Irma damage to take care of and a friend told me Mr. Handyman doesn’t do insurance work. Who do you recommend to help us?

A: If insurance companies are to pay a contractor directly, that contractor needs to be setup in their system, submit everything in certain formats, and agree to certain things that are good for the insurance company. Bottom line, folks that do ‘insurance work’ tend to focus on this work and view the insurance company as their customer.

We view home and business owners as our customer and want to work in their best interest. For small to modest damage claims, you may have been visited by an adjustor and received a check for that damage. We’re happy to work with you directly to resolve that damage, for which you will pay us directly for the work we complete.
