A: Mr. Handyman does not do tree work. While we do a lot of things around your home, trees are not on our list. That said, I do encourage you get your tree looked at by an arborist, or simply consider taking it down. June is the start of the 2019 hurricane season. We were spared here in Jax in 2018 but saw Matthew and Irma in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
Strong winds from a close call may be enough to topple your dying tree, and eventually it will likely fall on its own. I’d hate to see it come down on your home, or the home of a neighbor. It’s far better to take that tree down under circumstances you can control.
