Meet the Friendly Team at Mr. Handyman of Norwich Newlondon Ct

Cody joined Mr. Handyman in August 2024. Prior to joining, Cody worked as a landscape foreman in Vernon, CT. Before his time in the landscaping industry, he worked in the sales department for a minor league professional hockey team in Worcester, MA. Cody graduated from Nichols College in Dudley, MA with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He was part of the men’s soccer team and worked in the admissions department call center. He also completed a marketing internship with Boston College Athletics, working closely with the athletic director and marketing & sales departments. There he learned the back-end operations of Division 1 college athletics. “Mr. Handyman has given me a unique opportunity to apply my business experience in a blue-collar industry. We don’t view our services as “working for” the customer, rather, we work with the customer.” During his free time, Cody closely follows European soccer.

Jesse has been with Mr. Handyman since the winter of 2021. He has been in the building and remodeling industry for over 20 years, beginning his career at the age of 17. Formerly a project foreman for a company remodeling elderly housing and other state, federal, and military projects in the state of Connecticut. Jesse has worked in almost every aspect of construction, from foundation installation & repair, to roofing and everything in between. Jesse is a certified Kaba Mas X-10 high security lock installer, as well as LKM10K lock installer through Lockmasters Security Institute. Before joining Mr. Handyman, Jesse worked as a property manager for over 80 properties in southeastern, CT. Aside from his experiences in construction, Jesse also has experience working in sales after attending Asnuntuck Community College for business & psychology. “My goal is to safely and effectively accomplish your repairs while following local codes & guidelines. I want to accomplish every customer’s wants & needs in a creative, timely, and cost-effective manner." During his free time Jesse enjoys spending time with his children.

James has been with Mr. Handyman since the Spring of 2021. James began his career in the painting industry and was quickly determined to apply his skillset to a wider range of craftsmanship. Eager to learn more, James turned his attention to kitchen & bathroom renovations. Throughout this experience, he became intrigued by new construction. He began working for a company learning how to build residential homes and additions. During his carpentry journey, James gained vast experience & knowledge in framing, sheetrock, windows & doors, flooring, roofing, and siding. “I value giving my customers the best possible results in any given situation, no matter how small or large the project is.” James displays excellent customer service & professionalism, creating value in every experience. During his free time, James is an avid pool player and is learning to fly small aircrafts.
