Meet the Mr. Handyman Team

A native Long Islander who currently lives in Greenlawn, John has always been passionate about home improvement. While he had a very successful career in corporate America, John always dreamed of owning and running his own business. He decided to invest in his community and open a business of his own. Leveraging his experience from leading business operations, marketing and advertising in the telecommunication space, he was able to bring the highly respected Mr. Handyman franchise to Suffolk County. It has been a dream come true. John is finally able to combine his strong business acumen with his love of home improvement and provide the Huntington and Smithtown communities with an unparalleled and exceptional customer experience for consumers and businesses.

With a professional background in loyalty marketing & business development, Anila has always been obsessed with ensuring clients all receive a consistent and exceptional end-to-end customer experience and she brings that passion and enthusiasm to Mr. Handyman of Huntington and Smithtown. Prior to joining the team, she held senior positions at a variety of well-respected organizations including American Express Travel, NYC & Company - NYC’s tourism board, NY Road Runners/NYC Marathon and Cablevision. An entrepreneur, she is also the inventor and owner of Tiny Bites Food Shears, a parent must-have tool for babies and toddlers. She and John live in Greenlawn with their 4 children.

One of the cheerful and helpful voices you will hear when you call our office, Arzu is very passionate about making sure our wonderful customers are provided a consistent and exceptional customer experience. Smithtown resident, this happily married mother of three beautiful girls can often be found on the sidelines of a soccer or lacrosse field cheering her sporty daughters on.

With more than 30 years of residential and commercial carpentry and construction experience, Chuck is an expert in handling all types of projects and honey-do lists. He takes great pride in his work and treats every project as if he were working on his own home. When he’s not working, he enjoys boogie boarding out east, fishing and motocrossing. He and his wife live in Bohemia.

Greg is our lead service professional. He is a very talented and accomplished carpenter with experience in all areas of home improvement from framing to finish work. With more than 15 years of experience, he loves the diversity of working on a variety of projects including bath and kitchen remodels, decks, flooring, doors, drywall repair, trim and more. He lives in Blue Point and in his spare time, loves golfing and boating.

Jason is a very talented 5th generation master carpenter with more than 30 years of experience in all areas of home improvement and new construction in NYC and Long Island. When he is not working, this deep sea fishing enthusiast and his wife have their hands full with their 8 wonderful children.

Jim has over 20 years of residential and commercial carpentry and construction experience. He takes great pride in his work and treats every project as if he were working on his own home. An avid outdoorsman, he loves spending his free time with his five children fishing or four wheeling on the beach. He lives in Ronkonkoma.

With more than 30 years of professional carpentry experience, Pat has worked in all aspects and areas of repair for both residential and commercial projects. When this talented and gifted finish carpenter isn’t working, this lifelong NY Giants and Islanders fan enjoys classic cars. He lives in Medford with his wife of 25+ years, his daughter and their 2 dogs, a bernadoodle and golden retriever.

Griff is a hard working and passionate college student who has worked with Mr. Handyman the last 2 years assisting our talented service professionals on a variety of jobs and projects. He is a Sport Management major at SUNY Cortland who loves basketball, golf, poker and working out in his spare time. He lives with his family in Greenlawn.

Molly greets all our visitors at the office, especially the delivery people, with a hug, and occasionally a little barking. She is partial to red hoodies making her an exceptional brand ambassador since red is an official color of Mr. Handyman. She lives in Greenlawn with her family.
