A native Long Islander who currently lives in Northport, John has always been passionate about home improvement. While he had a very successful career in corporate America, John always dreamed of owning and running his own business. He decided to invest in his community and open a business of his own. Leveraging his experience from leading business operations, marketing and advertising in the telecommunication space, he was able to bring the highly respected Mr. Handyman franchise to Suffolk County. It has been a dream come true. John is finally able to combine his strong business acumen with his love of home improvement and provide the Huntington and Smithtown communities with an unparalleled and exceptional customer experience for consumers and businesses.

With a professional background in loyalty marketing & business development, Anila has always been obsessed with ensuring clients all receive a consistent and exceptional end-to-end customer experience and she brings that passion and enthusiasm to Mr. Handyman of Huntington and Smithtown. Prior to joining the team, she held senior positions at a variety of well-respected organizations including American Express Travel, NYC & Company - NYC’s tourism board, NY Road Runners/NYC Marathon and Cablevision. An entrepreneur, she is also the inventor and owner of Tiny Bites Food Shears, a parent must-have tool for babies and toddlers. She and John live in Northport with their 4 children and goldendoodle, Molly.

Denise is the master air-traffic controller of our daily office operations, expertly managing our technicians without breaking a sweat. With a black belt in calendar logistics and a gift for puzzle-solving, she is a friendly voice on the phone and the driving force behind keeping our team on time, on target, and moving seamlessly from one job to the next. When she isn't working, she loves spending time outdoors with her family and beloved maltese, Mac. Denise lives in Babylon.

Emma is one of the friendly voices ready to welcome you when you call our office. She genuinely loves chatting with clients and helping them bring their home project ideas to life. From your first phone call to scheduling the job, Emma ensures your experience is smooth, easy, and stress-free.

With over 20 years of experience in residential and commercial carpentry, Angelo brings craftsmanship, precision, and passion to every project he takes on. Known for his expertise in crown molding and finish trim, he takes pride in the fine details that transform a space from ordinary to exceptional. Whether he’s working on a large-scale renovation or a custom home feature, Angelo approaches each job with care, dedication, and a true love for his craft. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his three kids—going to the beach, watching movies, and making memories together.

Greg is our lead service professional and a highly skilled carpenter with more than 20 years of hands-on experience in all areas of home improvement. From framing and structural work to detailed finish carpentry, Greg brings craftsmanship, precision, and pride to everything he does. He enjoys the variety that comes with his work—tackling projects of all sizes, including kitchen and bath remodels, decks, flooring, doors, drywall repair, and custom trim. Known for his friendly demeanor and meticulous attention to detail, Greg takes great satisfaction in helping homeowners bring their vision to life. When he’s not on the job, you’ll likely find him outdoors enjoying a round of golf or spending time on the water. Between navigating the hazards on the golf course and keeping up with a young daughter, Greg has mastered the art of focus and precision—skills he uses daily to make sure your repairs are absolute hole-in-ones.

Jason is a highly skilled 5th-generation master carpenter with over 30 years of experience in all aspects of home improvement and new construction throughout New York City and Long Island. Known for his craftsmanship, attention to detail, and ability to handle projects of any size, Jason brings both expertise and passion to every job he takes on. When he’s not working, Jason enjoys spending time on the water as a deep-sea fishing enthusiast. At home, he and his wife keep busy raising their eight children.

Jim is a seasoned pro with over 25 years of residential and commercial carpentry and home improvement expertise. Jim takes immense pride in his craftsmanship, treating every repair, installation, and maintenance task with the same meticulous care and attention to detail as if he were working on his own home. From precision woodwork to everyday home fixes, Jim ensures the job is done right the first time. When he hangs up his tool belt, this Ronkonkoma local heads straight for the great outdoors. An avid outdoorsman, Jim is all about family time with his five kids—whether they're out fishing, four-wheeling on the beach, or just exploring nature together.

Joe is master carpenter with over 30 years of hands-on experience in both residential and commercial projects. Joe is the definition of a perfectionist, whether he’s framing a new wall, hanging drywall, installing custom trim, or tackling those stubborn home repairs. No matter the size of the project, you can always count on him to show up with a smile and get the job done right the first time. When he finally puts his tools away, Joe spends his time with his family, especially making memories with his young grandson. He’s also a lifelong, die-hard Jets fan—which means he possesses an almost superhuman level of patience and resilience, qualities that serve him incredibly well when dealing with tough projects.

Griff is a hard working and passionate college student who has worked with Mr. Handyman the last 3 years assisting our talented service professionals on a variety of jobs and projects. He is a Sport Management major at SUNY Cortland who loves basketball, golf, poker and working out in his spare time. He lives with his family in Northport.

Molly is our official greeter and brand ambassador. She loves to wear Mr. Handyman red hoodies and greets all the visitors at our office with hugs and kisses, except for our mailman, Chris.
